Specific information & background

This specific plugin is part of a set of content elements which were developed by former Group marketing Project Management CSY as a Master campaign.

The concept of this master campaign consists of 

  1. a master landingpage containing a compare table and a specific order form for service contracts based on different packages
  2. a master packages detail page containing description related to each contract package
  3. the folder containing the different content pages supporting the plugin with information needs to be configured with an “empty” layout.
    Otherwise navigation and footer would appear within the section they would appear within the plugin frame.

Designed as an interim solution, we developed a specific order form which interacts with an Azure B2C API to deliver information directly to the C4C system.

To make this reduced e-commerce functionality possible, a plugin was created which references different content elements to display both, the hard-coded order form as well as selection of different packages.

Package selection and related contents

  • Frontend end look & feel is hard-coded connected to the plugin

  • Content elements can be maintained on seperate pages which are referenced in the plugin configs

     

Unit model

This drop-down list is filled automatically based on two criterias

  • Product is configured to be imported to related country tree by PIM import
    • ref_product2webcls muss da sein

    • atr_227776 yes oder no

  • Product is configured to be service contract relevant (atr_378729 = yes)

Serial number

  • no dynamic API pre-check for the serial number
  • no validation check defined
  • Link to serial information is configured as “fancy box” which opens a seperate page as an overlay pop-up.
  • Related page needs to be configured within the plugin configs

Conditional fields

  • pre-defined and hard-coded

  • translation based on syste-term file which need to be exchanged with typo3 agency

     

Filter reminder

  • possibility to select a date
  • in ZG DE connected to local tool rapidmail
  • for other countries no API connection available
  • can be activated / deactivated

  • active checkbox will load additional fields to be filled by the user.

Additional message

  • free text field to let the user add additional information
  • possibility to configure a “placeholder” text in the plugin to give advice to the user which kind of additional information we expect or would be beneficial or helpful.

Thank you page - contract

  • customizable content page after successful submission of contract form
  • as email communication is controlled by Azure B2C / C4C the project team decided to inform the user about next steps by using a thank you page

Packages headline

  • simple input field for the headline connected to the package selection within the form dialog
