In Binic, a former commercial premises of 45 m² has been completely transformed into a comfortable and functional T2 apartment. This renovation project focuses on space optimization, energy performance and indoor air quality.
In Binic, near Saint-Brieuc (22), a former commercial premises is undergoing a complete renovation with a view to transforming it into a T2 type rental housing. This rehabilitation project, located in a small space of approximately 45 m², includes a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom/wc on the ground floor, as well as a bedroom upstairs.
In order to guarantee optimal air quality while reconciling aesthetics and energy performance, the company LE GALL, Parten'Air Zehnder installer, proposed the integration of a semi-decentralised double-flow ventilation system Zehnder ComfoAir Fit 100. This device, specially designed for renovation projects with strong space constraints, proved to be particularly suitable for the requirements of the site.
The main challenge of this intervention lay in the complexity of integrating a high-performance ventilation system into such a small volume.
The objective was twofold:
To meet the high space constraints of this rehabilitation project, the Zehnder ComfoAir Fit 100 semi-decentralised double-flow ventilation solution was chosen. Thanks to its compact design (W 465 x H 821 x D 216 mm) and its recessed wall installation, it blends discreetly and elegantly into the architecture of the home, without encroaching on the living space.
Its enthalpy exchanger allows for efficient heat and moisture recovery, ensuring a healthy and comfortable indoor climate, while avoiding condensate management. With a flow rate of up to 110 m³/h, this unit is perfectly sized to cover the needs of this small rental unit.
Another key advantage is the simplicity of implementation. Thanks to the CK300 distribution box and the RapidLock connection system, the duct network could be limited and optimized to adapt to the small configuration of the premises. The installation took place in a short time: in just 2 days, the team from LE GALL, Parten'Air Zehnder installer, was able to drill the façade holes for the air inlet and outlet grilles, install the machine and set up the entire network.
