WITRON Stahlfertiger GmbH und Co. KG operates 22 modern production halls covering an area of 27,000 m². The company manufactures steel structures, specialising primarily in the industrial production of steel halls.
The steel fabrication halls at the Waidhaus site are equipped with high-performance photovoltaic modules that generate a large proportion of the electricity required for operations. In addition, waste heat from a neighbouring farmer’s biogas plant is utilised, enabling Witron Stahlfertiger to operate with over 50 per cent energy self-sufficiency.
