This page type creates a visual separation in the page tree. You can use TypoScript to also display these separators in the frontend navigation. But in Zehnder websites, we do not use this in fronten navigations.
We use it in our backend page trees e.g. to separate the section of "header" items, "footer items" and main content navigation in case normal menu mode and not extended menu mode is in use.
