Privacy Policy for form elements
Basic information
- based on new legal guidelines in 2025 we shouldn't connect privacy policy information with a check box a user has to accept
- it should just be a static text connected with a link to the privacy policy page like “Please note our privacy policy.”
- To integrate a text and link combination within a form, it requires a specific content integration in forms
- you first need to create a related content element in a hidden section of your website tree
- then you can integrate this content element as a form element within your form
New option with form content element "text with link"
- We created a new element “text with link” as solution for all cases with privacy pages that don't require a check box but just a link to a privacy document.
