- Mount points allow TYPO3 editors to mount a page (and its subpages) from a different area in the current page tree and keep related menu structure
- Should only be used in specific use-cases where no other solution is possible in combination with extended 4-level main menu like for the German website where the content HUB needs to appear in different menu structures
- Requires specific admin role “Redakteur Mount Point”
- In the Plugin settings, the mount target has to be defined
